WM GAVALIER s. r. o. is a Slovak organisation based in Bratislava that focuses on connecting sport, non-formal education, international cooperation and community development.
From local playing fields to international projects, we connect sports clubs, young people, organisations and partners across Europe, helping them grow their activities in terms of people, projects and finances alike — professionally, effectively and with an emphasis on long-term sustainability.
Our vision is to build an environment in which sport is not just a result on the scoreboard, but a natural place for meeting people, building trust, gaining new experiences and fostering international cooperation.
At the same time, we don't want to limit ourselves purely to the world of sport. We believe that connecting sport with culture, art, ethnology, community life, and non-formal education can open young people's eyes to a wider view of the world and create a natural space for new ideas, friendships, and partnerships.
WM Gavalier organizes EU Erasmus+ projects, international mobilities, internships, workshops, lectures, symposiums, and partner exchanges. We also help clubs and organizations build cooperation with sponsors and develop their organizational capacity, communication, and long-term stability.
Quality Advisory Board
An important part of our work is also the methodological and professional foundation we develop through the WM Gavalier Quality Advisory Board. This board was not created as a formal symbol, but as a living, gradually growing space for collaboration among experts, partners, educators, facilitators, organizers, and practitioners who work together to improve the quality of projects, activities, and educational processes.
The Quality Advisory Board helps set project methodology, reflect on participants' experiences, develop learning objectives, facilitate group processes, evaluate the impact of activities, and prepare professional outputs, publications, and methodological materials. It also creates space for new ideas, the organization's long-term development, and connecting people who want to actively contribute to improving projects and youth work.

In our activities, we emphasize the principles of non-formal education — voluntary participation, engagement, the active involvement of young people, a safe environment, group dynamics, reflection on experience, and connecting practical experience with personal development. For us, learning doesn't happen only in a classroom, but also through shared experiences, discussions, travel, cultural encounters, and real cooperation between people.
We believe that genuine partnerships aren't formed only during official meetings, but especially in moments when people start listening to and understanding one another, and together create space for new experiences and future collaboration.
